Zach is a mid 20s, aspiring actor, who makes ends meet by doing odd jobs, like his current dog walking gig. Several years out of theater school, his acting ambitions, while still there, have plateaued. When he learns that one of his favorite filmmakers, Gunther Lazlo, is set to move into the neighborhood, he gets the spark he’s been yearning for. By putting on a haunted house to win over this monster movie maestro, Zach hopes to finally kick-start his acting career, even if his lofty creative vision is out of realistic grasp.
Elijah Lawrence is a New York based actor who studied theater at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, SUNY Purchase, and FonAct. Since graduating, he has acted, written, directed, and composed several short films and plays.
Vivienne is a hungry theater school grad, struggling to support herself in New York. She met Zach in college, where they subsequently worked together and began dating. After spending the past several years doing a slew of video and production jobs, she’s at the end of her rope. She agrees to the haunted house as a fun project, and nothing more. Everything changes, however, when she lands a job interview with a director in LA. This was never the scenario she or Zach pictured, but it just might be the one she needs.
Julia Whitcher attended NYU Tisch, where she studied at the Stella Adler Studio, as well a semester in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Since graduating, she has acted in numerous plays, short films, and other creative projects in New York City.
Bella is a high-strung, eager musical theater school grad who works a remote day job in sales. As someone highly dedicated and serious about her acting craft, she initially feels the haunted house is beneath her. But when she realizes that it could lead her to Broadway, she treats it like she would any of her other roles and gives it her all.
Sara Padgett is an actress born, raised, and based in New York City. She studied at NYU in the Tisch Drama program, completing her primary training at Stella Adler Studio. She has experience in film and on stage, having performed in numerous plays and short films.
Terrence is an elusive, reserved tech worker, living with the others on a sublease. While initially distant toward the other roommates, he leaps at the haunted house project, having always had a secret spooky Halloween spirit. We don’t know much about who Terrence works for or what his company does. No one even knows his last name. But we do know that he is as excited as anyone to put the haunted house on, which is good enough for the others.
Jon Morrison is an East Coast-based actor with a background in Meisner. He has acted in numerous films, TV shows, and plays. Credits include Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis and the NBC drama Chicago Fire.
Winston is the roommates’ rough-around-the-edges landlord. He has not kept the place up to code, so he and the roommates have an under the table arrangement where rent is discounted, in exchange for less than desirable living conditions. Zach puts on the haunted house behind his back, because he knows that, if and when he finds out, Winston won’t be pleased.
Dave Hill is a New York-based comedian, actor, musician, writer, and radio host. He has appeared in numerous films and TV shows including Girls5Eva, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and @Midnight. He is also the frontman of the rock band Valley Lodge, whose song “Go” is the theme song to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Jared Gilman is an actor best known for his lead role in Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. He has also appeared in the films Paterson, Elsa & Fred, and the short film The Reservoir from Hamilton House writer/director Jordan Rowe.

Lindsey Belisle is an actress based in New York City. She studied at Barnard College and trained at the British American Drama Academy. Her credits include Law & Order: SVU and the play Verona Falls at the Flea Theater.
Jacob is the roommates’ other actor friend, who typically lives with them, but is currently away shooting a TV series. While they view him aspirationally, when he returns home we learn that he’s as unsure of his career as the rest of them.
Moziah is an actor and musician, with training from NYU Tisch and the UCB Theater. Screen credits include Pokémon Sun and Moon: Ultra Legends and Netflix’s Insiders. In music, he has amassed millions of streams across all platforms and has performed at SXSW and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
